Phelps fell behind in the early going to Hazard and the Hornets dropped a 46-6 district game played at Daniel Field on Thursday night.
Running back Cainan Land scored on a 15-yard run early in the second half for the Hornets lone points.
Quarterback Bryson Locklear passed for 105 yards. Receiver Corey Turnmire caught four passes for 67 yards. Locklear also rushed for 79 yards.
