Floyd Central quarterback Colt Shelton rushed for four touchdowns to lead the Jaguars to a 36-20 road win over Knott Central on Friday night.
Shelton carried 22 times for 220 yards as Floyd Central improved to 4-3. Running back BJ Petersen finished with 171 yards and a touchdown on 19 rushing attempts.
It was the first district win for the Jaguars since 2019.
The Jaguars are idle this week before hosting Prestonsburg (4-3) on Oct. 13. Kickoff is set for 7:30 pm.
