Paintsville High School sharpshooter Colby Fugate came up big offensively this past week for the Tigers.
He had games of 34, 21 and 21 to help his Tigers climb above .500 on the season. His effort has earned him the Mountain Top Sports/Buffalo Wild Wings Player of the Week award.

Belfry’s Bol Kuir with games of 11, 32 and 9 while grabbing 20, 15 and 11 rebounds.
Letcher Central’s Joby Johnson had 23. 23 and 26 points and rebounds of eight, 12 and 12.
Lawrence County’s Kensley Feltner scored 23, 23 and 31 with a pair of double doubles.
Betsy Layne’s Kim Akers had three double doubles with 18, 10 and 16 points while grabbing 12, 10 and 12 rebounds. Teammate Madilyn Meade scored 24, 17 and 14.
Belfry’s DeMahjae Clark scored 21, 14 and 22 for the Pirates. Sal Dean added 20, 15, and 20-point games.
Letcher Central’s Kaylee Banks scored 16, 17, 19 and 11 during a four-game span is six days.
Shelby Valley’s Alyssa Elswick had games of 22, 18 and 13.
Magoffin County’s Angel Mullis scored 22, 13 and 31.
Pike Central’s Hannah May scored 11, 18, 13 and 12.
Pikeville’s Trinity Rowe had games of 26 and 17 while breaking a single season record for assists.
Phelps’ Mason Prater scored 27, 16 and 11.
Prestonsburg’s Ryan Rose finished with 14, 18 and 15 while pulling down seven, 16 and 14 rebounds.
Betsy Layne’s Brady Robinson had games of 19 and 21 and teammate Jordan Frazier scored 26 and 19.
Shelby Valley’s Kaden Robinson scored 29 and 20.
Prestonsburg’s Celina Mullins had a triple-double in one game.
