HIGH SCHOOL FOOTBALL: Pike Central rolls past Floyd Central in district opener

Pike Central jumped out to a big lead early on against Floyd Central and went on to score a 54-28 win in a game played at Jaguar Stadium on Friday night.

Quarterback Tayvian Boykins rushed for 121 yards and four touchdowns as the Hawks snapped a four-game losing streak.

Running back Matt Anderson had 194 yards on 21 carries and a pair of touchdowns. Eric Perez added a rushing touchdown.

Sheston Johnson, Max Martin, John Johnson, and Wesley Prater each had a rushing touchdown for the Jaguars.

Receiver Brody Buck hauled in two passes for 100 yards.
